Lunigiana, Tuscany

In the northernmost reaches of Tuscany, this property feels the influence both of the Mediterranean and the high mountains behind. The owner wanted a greener space, with some plant screening of nearby buildings and the road that snakes around her little garden. Though the garden is small, open areas where grandchildren can kick a football about were essential.
