Lake Trasimeno, Umbria
This plot with its dreamy view over the Umbrian countryside to Lake Trasimeno required a simple design – to match the sparse geometry of the contemporary new build and to ease maintenance. Only the area immediately around the house and pool has been reshaped and planted. The rest of the property will remain an olive grove, though bulbs and some native species will be added gradually as nature works on re-greening the space.
