An architectural extravaganza from the early 1970s, this villa in a complex by the sea in northern Lazio has a garden which was entirely paved over many years ago for ease of maintenance by the largely absentee owner. Now that she plans to use it more frequently, the garden has been landscaped, and a pool may be added.

In spring 2015, the paving which covered the whole surface to the east of the house was removed. A smaller semi-circular area outside the kitchen door was created and paved with gres. The remaining area was left free for a green space.
